Earlier this month, our nation remembered the attacks of September 11th, 2001 and the thousands of lives that were lost. On that very day of this year, we learned of fatal attacks in Benghazi that killed four Americans. Every week, we hear new names of people who were killed overseas, especially a mounting toll of service members killed in action in Afghanistan.
If passed, the plates would be available to the immediate family of someone who died outside a combat zone while serving in any branch of the United State armed forces, either active or reserve.
May God continue to bless the United States of America and all of our brave warriors who keep us safe and free.
