State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) recently presented Eagle Scout Bryan O’Donnell with a House commendation for achieving his Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Saturday, August 4th in Seven Hills. O’Donnell was recognized for his many achievements and service through his active participation with Boy Scout Troop 190. Kevin O’Donnell, the scout master for Troop 190, is also an Eagle Scout himself and Bryan’s father.

Bryan O’Donnell’s project took him to Tappan Lake in Cadiz, Ohio. He and his troop worked to repair and rebuild more than 15 picnic tables that had been weathered and partially burned. The scouts also cleaned all the trails surrounding the lake by picking up garbage.

“I am pleased to have been able to help honor Bryan, such an outstanding young member of our community,” Rep. Anielski said. “Becoming an Eagle Scout requires hard work and dedication, both of which Bryan has demonstrated.”
