State Representative Cheryl Grossman (R-Grove City) was recently awarded the Ohio Restaurant Association’s “Good Government Award,” which recognizes Rep. Grossman’s efforts to foster a more favorable business climate and encourage growth in the restaurant industry.
The award cites Rep. Grossman’s numerous efforts this General Assembly to facilitate a better business climate for the restaurant industry, including founding the Ohio Tourism Caucus, repealing the estate tax, creating uniformity in Ohio municipal income tax structures, and preempting political subdivisions from enacting regressive foodservice ordinances.
“It is important to me that we diligently work to support our important partners in the restaurant industry,” said Representative Grossman. “They play a vital role in the economic development opportunities for Ohio. I am honored to be recognized by such an essential Ohio industry.”
The ORA “Good Government Award” was presented at the ORA Chairman’s and Industry Awards Event in Toledo on June 10th.
