The hearing was designed to facilitate discussion and interaction between Ohio’s manufacturing community, public policy makers and interested parties regarding strategies to improve Ohio’s manufacturing competitiveness.

“Manufacturing plays a crucial role in Ohio’s economy and employs approximately 10 percent of all Ohio workers,” said Rep. McGregor, who serves as the vice chairman of the task force. “It is important to look into ways to boost this industry as we continue the effort to encourage job creation in Ohio.”
