State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) recently presented House commendations to the Solon students who participated in The Ohio Academy State Science Day.

Rep. Anielski attended the Solon Board of Education meeting where she presented each student with their commendation in front of their families and the Solon School Board. The State Science Day was hosted by The Ohio State University on Saturday, May 5th 2012. This event was sponsored by The Ohio Academy of Science, AEP-American Electric Power, The Ohio Environmental Education Fund, Boehringer Ingelheim Roxanne Inc., Battelle and Time Warner Cable.

“Through hard work and creative curiosity these students have shown their willingness and commitment to their goals,” Rep Anielski said. “It was a delight to be able to hear each of the students explain their science projects and have the ability to inform everyone in the room,” Rep Anielski said.
