State Representatives John Carey (R-Wellston) and Terry Johnson (R-McDermott), in conjunction with Senate President Tom Niehaus and Senator Dave Daniels, will be hosting an Ohio River Summit on Tuesday, August 2nd.

A panel of state and federal officials will learn about what is being done to explore the potential of the Ohio River and how government officials can further promote the economic potential of this vital natural resource.

The hearing will be held at 10 a.m. at the Ohio University Southern Campus in Ironton and is open to the public. Media availability of the panel members will be at approximately 11:45 a.m.
