State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) recently gave a commencement speech during the graduation ceremony for Cleveland Central Catholic—the high school from which the representative graduated.
The graduation was held on June 5th at St. Colman Church with the theme “Learning to Lead, Preparing to Serve.” Representative Anielski spoke to the graduating class of 112 students about the importance of having a “creative mind and spirit” as they move forward in their lives, whether to college or the working world.
“I was humbled and so very honored to share this special day with the Class of 2012,” said Representative Anielski. “It was my privilege to congratulate each and every graduate as Ironmen and Lady Ironmen. Every graduate has the opportunity to make a phenomenal contribution to those around, so long as they remain committed to the principles and values that have taken them this far.”
