During today’s session of the Ohio House of Representatives, State Representative Anthony DeVitis (R-Green) presented a House resolution to Green resident Alec Bailey, who is the 2011-2012 Ohio Youth Wrestling Association’s state champion.
Bailey has been wrestling for seven seasons and is a four-time district finalist, a three-time champion, and a four-time state placer. He finished his season 75-4 for the North Akron Warriors Wrestling Club.
“It is an honor for me to have offered this resolution to Alec,” Rep. DeVitis said. “It is well deserved for his years of hard work and dedication to the great sport of wrestling. I am certain that with his ambition and motivation he will continue to acquire many more accolades in the years to come.”
Bailey attends Green Intermediate School, where he is finishing the sixth grade. He also plays football and baseball for Green.
