Rep. Thompson Welcomes Local Students

State Representative Andy Thompson (R-Marietta) yesterday welcomed students from the Antrim Mennonite School to the House. Antrim Mennonite School is located in Freeport, but is right on the edge of Guernsey County.



“I am pleased to welcome Mr. Lapp and his students to the House,” Representative Thompson said. “It is important that students understand the workings of state government.”

The students are currently in a unit on state government, and their teacher, Mr. Titus Lapp, wanted them to get a front-row seat to see how the legislative body works.
