In response to the passing of Ohio’s only four-star General Donn A. Starry last week, Speaker of the Ohio House William G. Batchelder (R-Medina) released the following statement:

“General Starry was an exceptional American leader who served his country with great honor and distinction. His contributions to modern military strategy will continue to guide our troops and keep our families safe.


“I was honored to see him at his last public appearance recently, and I know that his lively spirit and strength of character that has so greatly benefitted our society will be greatly missed and cherished by his family and friends.”
