State Representative Lynn Slaby (R-Copley) today announced that the State Controlling Board approved the release of $800,000 to SpearFysh, Inc. for the purchase of software and capitalizable software development.

According to documents from the Office of Budget and Management, as a result of the project and state assistance provided, SpearFysh has committed to create 15 new, full-time jobs with average hourly wages of $29.72 in the City of Twinsburg.

“This is another great step in revitalizing an area that has been hit hard by the economy,” stated Representative Slaby. “We must continue to support new and innovative businesses for future job growth. Indeed, this project will highlight how great Ohio is and what we have to offer to the business community.”

SpearFysh provides a comprehensive sales team improvement solution incorporating smart pens, speech analytics, and web applications. It is currently in the incubation state of technology commercialization.
