State Representative Mike Henne (R-Clayton) recently participated in a roundtable discussion with Governor John Kasich, Senator Peggy Lehner (R-Kettering) and other members of the community to discuss early childhood care and education in Ohio.

The discussion was held at Creative World of Learning in Huber Heights and was an opportunity for the governor, lawmakers and interested parties to explore ways to improve early childhood services.

“Quality early childhood programs not only allow parents to work, but also are a key component to a child’s development and future success,” Henne said.

Creative World of Child Care Inc. has operated quality early care and education programs in the Miami Valley since 1975, serving an average of more than 800 children each year. With eight locations in Montgomery, Clark and Greene counties, Creative World strives to provide young children will an environment to develop self-confidence, social and emotional skills, and a love for learning.
