COLUMBUS—State Representative Cheryl Grossman (R-Grove City) was today elected by the House Republican Caucus to serve as Assistant Majority Whip during the 129th General Assembly.

“I’m deeply honored and grateful that my colleagues have entrusted me with this responsibility,” said Grossman. “We have many challenges ahead of us, but I’m confident that we can find long-term solutions to Ohio’s most important matters. Now is the time for all elected officials to work together to make Ohio a prosperous state again.”

Grossman will serve in majority leadership alongside Speaker William G. Batchelder (R-Medina), Speaker Pro Tempore Louis W. Blessing, Jr. (R-Cincinnati), Majority Floor Leader Matt Huffman (R-Lima), Assistant Majority Floor Leader Barbara Sears (R-Monclova Twp) and Majority Whip John Adams (R-Sidney). She is currently serving her first term in the Ohio House and is presently the Assistant Republican Whip. She previously served as mayor of Grove City, a member of Grove City Planning Commission, a city council member, and president of Grove City Council.
